Our Team

After graduating from Florida State University in 1981 with a degree in business, Todd began a career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. After twenty successful years as an Account Executive and Marketing & Sales Director, Todd launched Combined Insurance Services in Pensacola. Eventually, the company name was changed to Torgersen Consulting, to better reflect the company’s independent ownership. His business focus today, as CEO of Torgersen Consulting, is client relations and organizational development.

In addition to his degree at Florida State, Todd is recognized as a Certified Health Consultant, grading out in the top 10% nationally. He also completed the requirements for Syracuse University’s Graduate School of Sales Management and Marketing. Todd holds membership in the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals and the Florida and National Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also a Certified ACA Professional, completing the coursework and exams required to gain the designation.

Todd is active in the community as a past member of City Council for the City of Gulf Breeze, Five Flags Rotary (past President) of Pensacola and Past President of the Board for ARC Gateway and Past President of the ARC Gateway Foundation. Torgersen Consulting is a corporate member of the Chamber of Commerce in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. Todd has also participated in United Way’s Day of Caring, March of Dimes and served as a cook for Loaves & Fishes.

Outside of work, Todd spends time with his family, watching college sports and anything to do with the water. He is a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
